Jackie Henry for MN Senate

Meet Jackie Henry

A neighbor, not a career politician.

Born and raised on a family farm in Nicollet County — dairy, hogs, and crops — Jackie has spent her life in southern Minnesota: working the land, building a career, raising a family, and helping her neighbors plan their futures. She’s running because she’s excited to give people a reason to stay, live, and work here again — to make Minnesota a respectable place once more, and affordable enough that families want to put down roots and never leave.

Her story, in short

A life of hard work — and showing up for people.

  1. The farm

A farm kid from Nicollet County

Jackie was born and raised on her family's farm — dairy cattle, hogs, and crops. She grew up in the barn and in the field, helping with every part of the fieldwork, with chores that came before school and after it.

  2. Age 14

    Dairy, hogs & crops

When Jackie was 14, the family sold the dairy herd and expanded the hog operation. She stayed hands-on in all of it — the fieldwork and especially the hogs — and was just as active in her brother's hog operation. She learned young what every farm family knows: you earn every dollar, and you make it stretch.

  3. 1968

    A southern Minnesota kid

Jackie graduates high school with a farm kid's work ethic and a love for the place she still calls home.

  4. 1976

    She put family first

She worked to put her husband through school, then earned her own business degree — economics and accounting on the side.

  5. 36 years

    Helping families plan

Running her own financial-planning practice as an independent contractor, Jackie learned how working families really earn, spend, and save — and how to help them reach real financial freedom and manage their own economy.

  6. 2003

    A family business

She stood beside her husband at AJ Henry Fence Company, handling the day-to-day operations of a small southern Minnesota business from 2003 until he retired in 2020. Meeting payroll and serving neighbors comes as naturally to her as breathing.

  7. 2017

    A new chapter

She sold her practice and went right back to work as an independent Medicare broker. Today she helps neighbors — especially seniors — cut through a complicated system, understand what health care really costs, and choose the right plan so they can manage on their own.

  8. Today

    Ready to serve

Jackie is excited to go to work for you — because this was never about one person, it's about all of us. From dairy, hogs, and crops on the family farm to her own financial and Medicare practices to her husband's fence business, she's helped run four small businesses. That's real experience with agriculture, taxes, and a budget that has to balance — exactly how southern Minnesota lives, and how the state ought to be run.

Off the clock

A Minnesotan, through and through.

When she’s not helping a neighbor or knocking on a door, you might find Jackie out on the water. She loves this state’s lakes, woods, and small towns — and that’s exactly what she’s fighting to protect: a Minnesota where the next generation can build the same kind of life right here at home.

Family & home

54 years of marriage, and roots that run deep.

Jackie and her husband have been married 54 years — 55 this November. Their son is an attorney in St. Paul, and through his marriage they’re blessed with two step-grandchildren. Jackie is running so families like hers can build a life, raise their kids, and retire with dignity in the state where they grew up.

No family should have to choose between their home and their groceries.

Let’s bring southern Minnesota back.

Jackie will carry the values of Blue Earth, Nicollet, and Le Sueur counties to St. Paul and vote for the families who live here. Accountability for every tax dollar, schools that work, and a home worth staying in. If you’ve had it too, there’s a place for you in this campaign.
